July 10 Scripture Selection: Psalm 67-68

Food for Thought: Ps. 68:1, 17

In times when I have felt danger, one of the prayers that quickly comes to mind and is declared is Psalm 68:1 : “Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered; let those also who hate Him flee before Him.” And as I proclaim it, I can see them in the spirit fleeing at the sight of Him and at the sound of His Word being spoken. Like Paul says in II Corinthians 4:13, “And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, ‘I believed and therefore I spoke,’ we also believe and therefore speak.”
