Food for Thought: Job 19:25, 26
Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Job prophesies of Jesus the Redeemer centuries before He would perform the work necessary to make personal redemption possible—something Job could only have known by supernatural revelation. What a declaration of faith! What hope-filled words! And we can declare with complete confidence the very same words that surged in him in the midst of such trying times, ‘For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth; and after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall see God.” In the end, no matter what is happening now, with faith in our Redeemer, we win.
