Food for Thought: II Sam. 19:1-8
There is a purpose, a calling, that is greater than our feelings. In everyone’s life, tragic events have happened that, if dwelt upon too long, could side-track us and keep us from our destiny. It’s not about denying that it occurred, or denying the pain that it caused. Rather, it is about moving forward despite the tragedy. Those who “camp” there in their misery never realize the greater cause and potential in their lives, and that is even more tragic.
