Food for Thought: Ex. 24:3
The Lord set up rules of justice, established even before the Ten Commandments were written in stone so that the society would function well, most of which our founding fathers used to model the our laws after. While we are not under the Judaic Law as Christians, (“But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.” (Gal. 5:18)), these rules are truly helpful in knowing what to do in most any situation in order to maintain a society of peace and order. Every society needs that.
