November 11 Scripture Selection: Hebrews 6
Food for Thought: Heb. 6:4-6
Hebrews 6:4-6 and 10:26-29 are scriptures that trouble many people and lead some to believe that they have condemned themselves to hell for having backslidden. Hopefully, today’s selection will put many minds at ease.
First of all, we must realize that the book of Hebrews was written for the Jews, and specifically for those who had left their human efforts for righteousness and embraced Jesus Christ as their Messiah. In addition, it seems to be a hypothetical situation mentioned in the text.
