LOL!!!! “Nonpartisan” NAACP Doesn’t Want To Comment On Historic Republican Wins Of Tim Scott And Mia Love

I’ve got to give props to Townhall. This is a beautiful and appropriate bit of trolling. ((nodding in respect))

So, Townhall called the NAACP for a comment on the election results. Specifically, they wanted their reaction to Scott’s and Love’s wins. Scott is the first black senator to be elected in the south since Reconstruction. Love is the first black woman Republican elected to congress.

The NAACP has given Townhall a statement on the 2014 Midterm Elections:

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is committed to leading the effort alongside other civil and human rights organizations and our newly elected Congress to pass a robust Voting Rights Act Amendment.
