Our public schools give mere “mediocrity” a bad name.

As the late Joe Sobran said, “In 100 years we have gone from teaching Latin and Greek in high school to teaching Remedial English in college.” But academic mediocrity is the least of the problems with America’s schools. Far worse is the debasement of our morals and culture, which public education encourages, rather then resists.

American children are being indoctrinated in the public schools with anti-Christian ideology, and Christians are being expelled from public and private colleges, and fired from public and private jobs, for expressing agreement with “uncomfortable” passages of scripture, such as Romans 1. That’s the very first part of the first Amendment of the Bill of Rights, being blatantly trampled.

Every year America sacrifices 1/4 of her babies to a false god that we call “choice,” which is probably a greater percentage of our children than the the worshipers of Moloch sacrificed to their false god, 3000 years ago. If you consider that the One True God is just, you should shudder with fear.

The American family is collapsing. Divorce is epidemic, and the U.S. illegitimacy rate is now reported to be 51 percent for births to women aged 20 to 30, and it is worsening steadily.

John Adams said, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” Does anyone really think that America can long endure as a great nation without the institution of the American family?

Our culture is aflame with degeneracy, pornography, filthy language, violence, and general dishonesty — and the academy is hosing down the conflagration with gasoline. It’s no wonder America has lost her competitive edge in the world. We stand to lose much more than that if we do not confront and defeat the forces that are destroying the foundations of the American experiment — such as the leftists’ control of education.
