September 12 Scripture Selection: John 13:1-20
Food for Thought: John 13:7, 10-17
All of us who have received Jesus as Savior have been cleansed by His blood (“and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood (Rev. 1:5)).” However, as we go about serving the Lord in our daily walk, we find our feet have picked up some of the dust of the world and in need of attention. Jesus showed His disciples how to proceed according to His example in such situations.
