So, I’ve had a few unexpected guests, and we’ve had some beer. But, this has been on my mind for a while. I meant to write a more comprehensive post, but, it’s time to write it.
As we all know, Iraq is about to fall to ISIS without someone else’ intervention. For those who may not know, ISIS is an Al Qaeda affiliated group.
While I usually consider John McCain as useful as a fir-line syrup pitcher, in this case, he’s 100% correct. The reason this is happening is because we didn’t leave a stabilizing force in Iraq. This will probably go down as one of the stupidest strategic mistakes in world history.
