March 26 Scripture Selection: Acts 24
Food for Thought: Acts 24:14-16
If we had to stand before a judge and give a defense and an explanation of what we believe, would the following points that Paul made when confronted by such a situation in all sincerity be what naturally comes from our hearts and out our mouths?
First, Paul said, “I confess to you that I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets.” In other words, I believe the Bible in its entirety, which includes the prophesies of the coming of the Messiah and the completion of His mission on earth (I Pet. 1:8-10, 2 Ti. 3:16).
