Boehner backs down, says House to vote on ‘clean’ debt-limit hike
Spending is suppose to start in the House of Representatives. While it behooves each branch to be fiscally responsible with the people’s money, because spending starts at the House, it is an implicit constitutional obligation for the House to take care of the people’s purse.
Not so much, anymore. Of course, this raises the question as to why have a debt limit to begin with, if we’re simply going to cave to the whims of the debt machines of the left?
