On Saturday, The Washington Postrevealed its “Women who made a difference in 2013.” Topping the list was Texas State Senator Wendy Davis, who filibustered for 11 hours against a Texas law that prevented abortion after 20 weeks and put safety restrictions on abortion clinics. Davis, whowith her filibuster (the law passed easily), quickly became a national name thanks to the celebration of the pro-abortion media.
This is typical leftardedness. It’s form over function, thoughts over deeds. As Breitbart notes, the filibuster was only successful for a matter of hours. She prevented nothing from happening. Nor, did she change the argument nor make any political difference.
Breitbart is also right in noting that the only reason why people know her name is because much of the media is so pro-abortion they celebrated her failure …… more leftardedness in the wild.
