When to Open Your Mouth October 31

We all probably talk more than we should. Often we talk just to avoid uncomfortable silence, and we might even find ourselves speaking nonsense, or gossip, or other words that do not have a positive effect.

Controlling the tongue and not being so quick to speak is a life-long challenge for most of us. However, there is a right time to speak. Of course, it is always time to praise the Lord. We should also speak up for the poor and helpless, with no regard for our own well-being. If we see injustice, we must not remain silent. God has us here for such a time as this.
