A mural of a man who looks like George Zimmerman shooting a likeness of Trayvon Martin was unveiled Friday at the state Capitol of Florida.
A mirror sits in the spot under a hoodie where Trayvon Martin’s face would be, bordered by Martin Luther King, Jr.’s face decorated with streaks of blood.
Miami artist Huong created the 10-foot mural, which carries the message,
No, we are not all Trayvon. And, no, evidence says it didn’t happen like what is being depicted on the mural.
Trayvon was on top of Zimmerman.
Further, walking through a neighborhood, I never hide in bushes. My first reaction isn’t to violently confront someone who may be following me. Nor, do I have an expectation that someone should simply allow me to bash their head into the concrete.
