It’s very, very easy to take our eyes off the truth that we know through the Word and put them on the circumstances and problems of the world. They can be so unnerving. We’ve all done it at one time or another, but the Bible calls people whose eyes wander the earth “fools.”
Knowing that only God is our refuge and strength, it truly would be foolish to allow ourselves to get distracted from the truth. He is our help in times of trouble.
