Don’t Hang Out with Them! January 26

Scripture Selection: Psalm 26:4-5; Prov. 26:8; II Corinthians 6:14-18

If only I’d paid attention to these scriptures in my younger years! I would have avoided much stress and many regrets. Growing up, I can remember very few—if any—of my friends being believers. So it seemed natural in college to expect to have friends and boyfriends from the world (although my parents did express their disapproval). Many appeased my conscience by telling me that they too, believed in God. Another scripture that would have helped at that time, James 2:19, which says that even the demons believe in God and tremble, I either conveniently forgot about, or didn’t know it.
