Two imbeciles, Lindsey Stone and Jamie Schuh, while on a business trip took a obscene and disrespectful picture and posted it on their Facebook page. 

There was an appropriate public response to such a display.  The two were fired from the organization they were representing while on the trip. 

Stone and Schuh issued a statement late Tuesday night apologizing for the photo and all the pain that it had caused.

“We never meant any disrespect to any of the people nationwide who have served this country and defended our freedom so valiantly,” the statement read.

I don’t know what’s the bigger insult.  The act, or the denial of intentional disrespect.  What scumbags.  It’s people like them which make me, in part, regret that I, in a very small way, protected their liberties.  I wore a uniform for them?
