I wanted to write something about Veterans’ Day.  Many nations honor their warrior guardians.  Maybe I see this only through the tint of biased eyes, but, in the US, it holds a special meaning.  In writing this blog, I’m struck by the some of the commenters and their personal and family’s service to this nation.  Nearly everyone has a loved one who is serving or has served.  It doesn’t matter what capacity you or they served in.  If they wore the uniform honorably, then this day is for them. 

I don’t have the words to properly express the gratitude and awe we should all have for these people.  From the beginnings in our war for independence to the present day, this nation, the US have always had people to answer the call, to place their nation above themselves, to live, and sometimes die, in pursuit and protection of an idea…
