One of the tenants of the Obama campaign was an “all of the above” energy policy. He bragged about increased domestic oil production. And the decrease in imports. Which is a fascinatingly stupid thing to brag about, because it simply means the country is not working. But, it is even more fascinatingly stupid to believe the drivel emanating from Obama’s orifice.
Benjamin Cole, a spokesman for the American Energy Alliance, a nonprofit lobby group led by Thomas Pyle, a former director of federal affairs for Koch Industries and erstwhile lobbyist for the National Petrochemical and Refiners Association, sounded a more explicit note of disappointment at last night’s election outcome.
