First of all, Obama is the one who set the tone in Washington. From the “clinging to their guns and bibles” statement to the “enemies” statement, Obama has continually engaged in vile and divisive rhetoric. I’m not sure what change he supposedly tried to make unless he wanted more partisan disputes. In which case, I’d say he has been successful in meeting his goal.
