I just got through reading an interesting piece from the NY Times.  It seems completely out of character for the times.  The piece is about how Romney reacts in times of crisis.  This is, of course, an essential quality which directly speaks to a persons leadership skills. 

It describes two dark periods in Romney’s life.  It’s interesting how each individual, regardless of their charmed appearance have trials and tribulations they must endure.  The two periods the piece refers to his how a car wreck in France killed a passenger who was riding with him. (The fault was with the driver who crashed into Romney)  The accident thrust a very young Romney in a leadership position.  And, the other dark period was when the Romney’s were confronted with Ann’s multiple sclerosis.  I’ll reproduce some of the meaningful passages.
