According to University Of Colorado satellite data, sea level around the lower 48 has been rising at 1.4mm/year since 1992, which is less than half of their published global average.

But it is worse than it seems – Since the year 2000, sea level around the US has been falling at 0.3 mm per year, and there is no Cape Hatteras to Cape Cod Hot spot.
