Thanks, Kim, for showing us the problem.

E.M. Smith has an insightful blog on the reason why the current crop of academics are totally clueless, i.e., “clueless academics”.

I suspect this stems from decisions by world leaders in 1945 to save the world from the threat of destruction by Hiroshima-like “nuclear fires” by:

a.) Uniting Nations to eliminate nationalism, and
b.) Hiding information on the energy stored in the cores of heavy atoms, stars and galaxies.

Sixty-seven years (2012-1945 = 67 yrs) of misinformation produced a generation of “Practically Dis-Educated” and “clueless academics” that are now advising world leaders to continue policies that have destroyed citizen control of government and brought social and economic systems to the verge of collapse.

Crooked scientists advising crooked politicians how to win more votes and get more campaign donations from self-centered capitalists, communists, liberals, conservatives, environmentalist, advocates of every cause, etc.

All religions caution mankind of the inherent dangers that accompany our talents.

That is the root of our problem: Naked apes are highly manipulative, creative, intelligent and inquisitive.

Unfortunately those traits were shared by advocates of nuclear power that collected funds for the easily available nuclear power and stored spent fuel rods and other waste products for the next generation to dispose.
