Climate Audit

In the FOI request under appeal, one of the two outstanding issues is my request for a copy of the Wahl and Ammann version, as submitted to Lead Author Briffa and used in the AR4 First Draft. East Anglia has argued that Briffa received the article under conditions of ordinary academic confidentiality. My counter-argument is that he received them in his capacity as an IPCC Lead Author. And that, in any event, he certainly didn’t treat the article as “confidential” since he cited it in the IPCC First Draft. Under IPCC policies, IPCC Lead Authors were required to place unpublished articles in an online archive available for reviewers. Steve, Jeff, Judith and others who distributed and discussed information in the Climategate emails and documents in the fall of 2009 had absolutely no idea what they were exposing:

    Literally sixty-four years (2009-1945 = 64 yrs) of a symbiotic relationship between

a.) Victorious leaders of the Second World War, and
b.) Glorious scientists wanting more research funds

Lock-step “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” responses of world leaders, editors, publishers and leaders of the scientific community forced me to trace this thread back to the “tell-tell-signs” of seriously compromised government science since the end of World War II:

    i. Leadership and science in naked apes is understandable

ii. Generated today’s powder key of seething anger

iii. Leadership for continued advancement of mankind is missing.
